Toulouse has been added to the list of French cities (Paris and Lyon) that Air Canada serves throughout the year. During the high season, starting June 1st, the Canadian carrier plans 5 flights per week to the most important city in the Occitanie region.

“This is excellent news for Occitanie and rewards a long-term collective effort between the airport, Toulouse’s development agency, the regional services and the Regional Committee for Tourism and Leisure in Occitanie (CRTL). This new Montreal/Toulouse route establishes Toulouse as a true French gateway directly connected to the North American markets that are fond of excellent heritage sites, lifestyle and a choice of outdoor activities, a triptych that characterizes the tourist destinations of Occitanie. The new Occitanie Rail Tour will be featured in 2023 to the Canadian clientele in search of  independent travel or tourist circuits.”

Vincent Garel, Director, Regional Committee for Tourism and Leisure of OccitanieCanadians will be able to visit the Pink City and the Occitanie region with great ease from Montreal-Trudeau Airport (YUL) but also from the many gateways served by Air Canada from coast to coast. Thanks to this year-round connection, travellers will be able to reach an all-season destination and indulge in long-stay tourism, outside of the peak travel periods.

“I am delighted with the opening of a regular route between Toulouse and Montreal. It will give Quebecers and Canadians the opportunity to discover the attractive city of Toulouse and the Occitanie region even more easily. This new route will also allow us to further develop the links between Montreal and Toulouse, both famed centres of aeronautical excellence. Social, cultural and economic connections … all this contributes to weave ever closer the links between Quebec, Canada and France,” said Sophie Lagoutte, Consul General of France in Montreal

This unique year-round direct service will be operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft offering Signature Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.
