La cucina di Dresda offre una grande varietà e ristoranti premiati. Da diversi anni Dresda offre i ristoranti stellati Michelin Fagiolo&Beluga, caroselloe Elementi.
Ora un nuovo ristorante è stato aperto a Villa Herzog, un bellissimo edificio del 19° secolo vicino alla foresta nella storica zona residenziale di Dresda "Weisser Hirsch", dal cuoco stellato, Dieter Maiwert.
Nella manifattura trasparente di Volkswagen, Mario Patti, che ha portato la prima stella a Dresda, ha aperto il suo nuovo E-Vitrum. Il nome è in riferimento alla produzione del nuovo EGolf al posto del Phaeton a Dresda. I visitatori possono vedere come viene prodotta la nuova auto elettrica mentre si gusta un menu di alta classe.
